GETTING THE MOST OUT OF THE RUST REMOVER SOAK
Rusted Solutions™ Rust Remover Soak has the ability to hold over 400g of dry rust per 5L of Soak. This allows it to be reused time and time again saving you time and money.
DEGREASE / CLEAN
Remove loose rust, dirt, grease and other contaminants. The cleaner your item is to start with the longer the solution will last and the faster it will work.
RUST REMOVER SOAK
Fully submerge the item to be de-rusted in a plastic container (do not use metal).
REMOVE LOOSE RUST
Take out the item after about 1-2 hours. Whilst rinsing with water, brush off all loose rust. This will speed up full de-rusting and ensure the Rust Remover Soak lasts longer. It is not unusual for the Soak to work for 24 months. It is purely the amount of dry rust equivalent that reduces its working capacity.
RUST REMOVER SOAK: CLEAN METAL
Once the item is free from rust, thoroughly clean with water and dry. You now have clean metal to give you a great base for your end treatment.
