SHOWER/PUMP RUST REMOVAL METHODS
The Shower/Pump re-circulation method really is simple and enables you to access areas which would be impossible via mechanical means such as the inside of a car door. All you have to do is keep the surface wet with the Rust Remover Soak long enough for it to work its magic.
In this example we have a pump sitting in a tub at the bottom to collect the Soak and a pipe from the pump running to the high point. This shows the Soak flowing over the rust.
Please note this is just an example to show how it works. You wouldn’t do the item outside like this as a lot of the product would evaporate. All that remains is clean metal, original primer and paint with SHOWER/PUMP RUST REMOVAL METHODS.
You can use the same concept for anything from a door to a whole car as with this example below. The EH Holden was rotated on a rotisserie allowing the Soak to penetrate into every part.
- Rust Remover Soak
- 12v Bilge Pump (Cheap on Ebay)
- 12v Transformer
- Low point for the pump to be located. (Could be a plastic tub or low point on some plastic sheet or tarp)
- Plastic sheet or tarp to direct the flow back to the pump
- Shower Head or Spreader Bar or just leave the end of the pipe open depending on your application
